SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna field hockey stamped an electrifying win Saturday over Washington College of Maryland. After a scoreless first three quarter, both sides exchanged one goal apiece to start the fourth. In the closing seconds still tied at 1-1, Gracie Roush pushed one through to the back of the cage with under a minute left in the game for a 2-1 victory. 

How it Happened 

• Emma Campitelli began scoring in the contest, pushing a ball past the outstretched right foot of Shorewomen goalkeeper Charlotte Schurman, netting her second goal of the season at the 53:29 mark of the contest. 

• Washington College (Md.) answered quickly, with an Emma Campbell goal to knot the game at one all with less than four minutes to play in regulation. 

• A late penalty corner gave the River Hawks just the chance they needed, when Gracie Roush finished a shot for the orange and maroon, with 40 seconds remaining in the game.

• Susquehanna out shot Washington College 20-11 in the contest. 

• The River Hawks earned 12 shots on goal, the most this season. 

• Taytum Lombardi earned four saves on the afternoon, allowing only one goal.
