SWARTHMORE, PA - Susquehanna University field hockey had another tough test Saturday on the road having to face No. 22 Swarthmore, with SWAT offering up a 3-0 victory. After three straight to start the year Susquehanna makes its home debut this Wednesday, September 10 against Dickinson. 

How it Happened 

• Swarthmore's, Amelia Landry, struck first on the afternoon with a goal in the first frame, 11:09 into the match up. 

• The Phoenix found the back of the net once more to open the second frame, with a shot from Annika Hoyer. 

• Swarthmore earned the third goal of the afternoon on a shot from Liza Semenenko to end the first half.  

• Both teams led a defensive battle to close out the second half of play. 

Inside the Box Score 

• SU tallied three shots in the match, with all three coming on goal. Kiara Koeller, Emma Campitelli, and Riley Corbett all earned one shot on goal in the game. 

• Goal keeping duties were shared on the afternoon, with Kylie Schmidt taking the first half of play, followed by the second half being tended by Taytum Lombardi. 

• Schmidt earned four saves in the contest, while Lombardi earned six. 

• The River Hawks had three penalty corner chances, unable to capitalize on the opportunities.
