MADISON, NJ - Susquehanna women's basketball jumped back into the win column Saturday with a satisfying 63-44 win over Drew. The victory offered the River Hawks a spark following consecutive defeats to Landmark powers Scranton and Catholic, improving to 12-3 overall and 5-3 in the conference, standing in sole possession of fourth place in the league standings.
How it Happened:
- Julia Pinckert started the scoring for the River Hawks, netting a triple for the visiting team.
- The River Hawks and the Rangers continued to trade baskets back and forth, with neither team being able to pull away early in the game.
- SU went on a 7-0 run late in the first quarter, being the first team to pull away in the contest.
- Susquehanna held a slight lead heading into the second quarter of play, 15-12.
