SELINSGROVE, PA - After a week-long, two-game stay in Florida, Susquehanna women's lacrosse made its much-anticipated return home Saturday against 22-ranked Rowan. The Profs clicked into gear right away, stunning the River Hawks with 14 first-half goals on their way to a 18-7 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Elaina Corson led Rowan with six goals and one assist for seven points. Alexis Lowry and Trish Gillen each had three goals for the Profs.
- Susquehanna looked to counter Rowan's 14-goal first half with four goals, each coming from different sticks in Sophia Trively, Sloane Coddington, Abby DiComes and Abby Andrus.
- Waverly Oake-Libow tallied a game-high four assists, assisting on all four of SU's first-half goals.
- The second half featured Andrus and Trively scoring their second goals of the day, with Makaela Larkin joining in on the scoring as well.
- The Profs won 22 draw controls to Susquehanna's four, leading to much of their scoring chances. They also led 34-15 in shots and 23-10 in shots on goal.
- Kimberly Nagengast stepped up defensively with three caused turnovers and five ground balls, along with one draw control.

- Susquehanna hosts Alvernia on Wednesday, Mar. 18 at 4 p.m. in its final test before Landmark Conference season starts next Saturday as the River Hawks head to Elizabethtown for a 1 p.m. matchup.
