Roth, Pinckert Named All-Landmark First Team; George Second Team

SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna women's basketball notched three All-Landmark Conference selections in Julia Pinckert, Julia Roth, and Carly George. Both Julia Roth and Julia Pinckert were named First-Team Honors, with Carly George being named Second-Team. All three seniors led the River Hawks to their best season since 1991-92, finishing the year by clinching Susquehanna's first ever two-seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament, while also notching 21 wins for their first 20-win season since 1994-95.

Susquehanna started their season out hot, defeating the University of Mary Washington and nationally-ranked Gettysburg College en route to reclaiming the annual Tip-Off Tournament title. Susquehanna continued their storybook season by defeating Muhlenberg College and Juniata College. Susquehanna's first adversity came against Elizabethtown College, where a close battle ended in the Blue Jays favor.

Susquehanna's loss to Elizabethtown did not deter their season, as the team won their next seven straight games. Susquehanna defeated Misericordia University, Wilkes University, Moravian University, and Eastern University all ahead of their trip down to Puerto Rico. Susquehanna's Puerto Rico opponents proved worthy, as the River Hawks defeated Union College, before narrowly defeating Montclair State University 63-61. Susquehanna returned to PA to face-off with Lycoming College, where the team defeated the Warriors to push their win streak to seven.

Susquehanna was defeated by the University of Scranton in The Palestra, before falling to Catholic University. Despite the two game losing streak, the River Hawks picked right back up where they left off, winning 10 of their remaining 11 regular season contests. Susquehanna defeated Drew University and Goucher College ahead of their rematch against Elizabethtown College. The Blue Jays were stunned when SU defeated them 75-62. Susquehanna continued to win as the team took down Juniata College and Moravian University, giving head coach Gabby Holko her 99th career win. Susquehana defeated Wilkes University to push Holko's win total to 100.

Susquehanna defeated Lycoming College, before winning a thriller at Catholic University with a last second Sydney Weyant lay up. Susquehanna rounded out the regular season taking down Goucher College and Drew University on their way to clinching their first ever two-seed in the Landmark Conference. Susquehanna's storybook season came to a close in the Landmark Conference semifinals against Elizabethtown College.
