CARLISLE, Pa. – The Susquehanna University women's volleyball team battled Dickinson College Wednesday evening at the Kline Life/Sports Center, but the River Hawks fell to the Red Devils, 3-1. Susquehanna claimed the second set, 25-17, but Dickinson took the first, third and fourth sets by scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-23.
How It Went Down
- Dickinson jumped out to an early lead in the opening set and held on for a 25-17 victory. Susquehanna responded in the second set, using a strong offensive performance to even the match. The River Hawks recorded 10 kills with just five errors in the frame while holding Dickinson to a .032 hitting percentage.
- The Red Devils regained control in the third set, hitting .407 with 14 kills to take a 2-1 match advantage. Susquehanna continued to battle in the fourth set, finishing with 13 kills, but Dickinson held on for a 25-23 decision to close out the match.
