PRIOR TO SU: Transfer from West Virginia University...red-shirted for the Mountaineers in 2020, playing in one game while making one tackle in 2021 against Long Island University...member of Liberty Bowl champions in 2020...prior to WVU, was a standout for the Warriors of Wyoming Area High School in Exeter, Pennsylvania...was a tight end and defensive end for the Warriors, while also lettering as a defender on the lacrosse field...captain of the 2019 Wyoming Area squad that won the PIAA Class 3A title...named PIAA 3A All-State First Team at defensive line by EasternPaFootball.com in 2019...Wyoming Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2019...WNEP-TW Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania "Super 16" Dream Team...NPF All-District 2 First Team at tight end in 2019...posted 139 tackles including 14 sacks and 27 tackles for loss...20 receptions for 452 yards and nine scores at tight end...National Honor Society member. 

PERSONAL: Parents Carmen and Jennifer Ambrosino...has one sibling, Nathan...finance major...chose SU over West Virginia and Robert Morris University "because of the academics and elite reputation of the football program."
