Prior to SU: Attended Liberty Union High School where she ran Cross Country, Track and Field, and competed in Basketball cheer

Personal: Parents are Melissa and Andy Sponseller... has 3 siblings, Rachel, Charlie, and Sam... Chose SU "because the community was very welcoming when I first arrived on campus. I met some of the people on the team and they were very kind and friendly. I also knew I wanted to study abroad in college and the GO program at SU really sets students up for success."

Senior Spotlight: What is your favorite SU athletics memory? "Winning the Indoor track Landmark conference title freshman year with all my friends and teammates"... What has playing athletics at SU meant to you? "SU athletics has given me lifelong friendships that wil help carry me into the future. It has allowed me to be a part of a community and a team that cares about each other and lifts each other up. It has brought me some of my favorite memories and I am so thankful that I got to be a part of it all."... What has been your favorite class and professor? "My favorite class has been meteorology taught by Dr. Straub and my favorite professor has been Dr. Fathel. She is an excellent teacher."... Nobody knows that: "I dream of being able to play the electric guitar really really well one day."
