Jim Reed collected his 200th career victory Saturday afternoon as the River Hawks posted a commanding win over Goucher College. Susquehanna (6-12, 3-5 LC) snapped a four-game skid with its 63-43 triumph over the Goucher Gophers (5-14, 0-8 LC).

How It Happened
- The River Hawks broke the game open with a pair of 20-point performances in the first and fourth quarters.
- Goucher staked a 4-2 lead at 7:45 of the first period behind buckets from Nicole Wolard and Alayna McFadden. Freshman guard Sadie Comfort (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville) sparked a 17-7 run for SU with her first of two triples of the quarter, helping to send the River Hawks in the second frame with a 21-9 advantage.
- The Gophers won the second stanza, 11-6, as Susquehanna's shooting percentage dropped from 50-percent to 15.4-percent, including 0-for-5 from downtown. Anise Williams paced all scorers in the quarter with eight points as Goucher cut the deficit to 27-20 at halftime.
- Susquehanna edged the Gophers, 14-12, in the third period, using an 11-7 push to reestablish a double-digit margin with 2:23 remaining. Sophomore guard Nevin Hoenninger (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) knocked down her first bucket of the game, a triple with 39 seconds to go, to match SU's biggest lead of the game (12). Jorryn Avery responded with a three-pointer of her own to make a nine-point game heading into the fourth.
- The River Hawks connected on a blistering 66.7-percent of their shots in the fourth, going 8-of-12 from the field to put the game away as they outscored Goucher, 22-11, over the final 10 minutes.
Inside the Box Score
- Freshman forward Olivia Brandt (Bethlehem, Pa./Notre Dame) came off the bench to tally a season-best 12 points on season-highs of five field goals made (5-of-8) and two free throws made (2-of-2). Brandt also hauled in a season-best seven rebounds.
- Sophomore Madi Welliver (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) and freshman guard Amanda Lemire (Auburn, N.H./Pinkerton) each put up 11 points in the winning effort. Welliver's season-best 11 points came on the strength of a season-high five free throws made while adding eight boards.
- Sophomore captain Erin McQuillen (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) dominated the glass this afternoon with a career-best 13 caroms while chipping in six assists and a career-high three steals.
- Susquehanna finished the game 12-of-14 from the free throw line and notched a 49-36 rebounding margin. The River Hawks shared the wealth with a season second-best of 20 dimes.
- Williams finished as the leading scorer and rebounder of the game with 16 points and 13 rebounds while Wolard contributed 11 as Goucher lost its eighth straight.

- In his 18th season of coaching women's basketball, Reed has accumulated his 200 victories at two schools – Wilkes University (2001-2005) and Susquehanna (2005-present). He has totaled 173 wins thus far at SU and boasts a .500 win percentage with the River Hawks.
