Michael Hatala saw action in 34 games with eight starts as a River Hawk, including starting six of eight games before the 2020 campaign was canceled. Hatala tallied 29 goals and 13 assists for 42 career points. He also amassed 21 ground balls.
 
This season, the 5-10 attackman was ranked eighth in the Landmark Conference with two man-up goals. Hatala was fifth in the league last season with five man-up goals.
 
Hatala collected three hat tricks during his career as he scored a career-high three goals three times. He dished out a career-best two assists twice while notching a career-high five points in a 16-5 win at Marywood University on April 9, 2019. His first career goal came in a 17-5 victory at Washington & Jefferson College on March 4, 2017.
 
Off the field, he has made the Dean's List three times and serves as the team representative on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.
 
Susquehanna posted an overall record of 34-28 (10-8 Landmark) while advancing to the Landmark Conference Championship title game in 2018 and 2019 during Hatala's four-year career, including a 2-6 mark in a shortened 2020 season.
 
FAVORITE SU MEMORY: My favorite memory on the field was beating Scranton in the 2019 Landmark Semifinals at their field. Off the field, some of the best times I've had were during the SU London Program traveling across Europe to Oktoberfest, Prague and Amsterdam with some of my best friends.
 
THANK YOU'S: I would first like to thank my mom and dad for always being there to support me. No matter how cold it was or how hard it was raining, my mom was always at every game taking pictures on the sidelines. I also want to thank all the SU lacrosse senior classes before me for helping me grow as a person and as a player. Finally, I want to thank my friends for always putting a smile on my face even during the tough times.
