LANCASTER, PA - The Women's Swimming and Diving Team defeated Elizabethtown on Saturday afternoon and posted eight top three finishes as well. The River Hawks defeated the Blue Jays soundly, winning 178-78, but lost to Franklin and Marshall 193-65. 

Kate Cipoletti was one of the top swimmers for Susquehanna in Lancaster as the sophomore finished third in the 200-Yard Freestyle and second in the 500-Yard Freestyle. In the 200 Free, Cipoletti finished with a time of 2:03.61 and in the 500 Free, she had a time of 5:37.03.

In the Butterfly events, Sabrina Krotzer and Haley Muth had strong races, as Krotzer finished second in the 200 Fly and Muth was third in the 100 Fly. Krotzer finished the 200 Fly 2:19.64, while Muth posted a time of 1:02.51 in the 100 Fly. Muth also placed fourth in the 50- and 100-Yard Freestyles, coming in at 26.12 and 57.70 respectively. 

Leah Tessarvich, Shannon McGoey, and Torie Morin all posted third place finishes in separate events to round out the individual top three finishes for Susquehanna on Saturday afternoon. Tessarvich was third in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:04.62 and McGoey was third in the 100-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:14.05. Morin posted a third place finish in the 1000-Yard Freestyle in a season best time of 12:05.40 and was also the fifth place finisher in the 400-Yard Individual Medley, finishing in 5:15.81.

The group of Tessarvich, Cipoletti, Krotzer, and Amy Segond earned a third place finish in the final race of the day in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay, finishing at 1:46.91.
