LOGAN TWP, NJ (October 15, 2022) – The Susquehanna cross country teams visited Rowan University on Saturday to compete in the Rowan Border Battle. The women would place 10th out of 35 teams and finished second out of the four Landmark teams competing, the other three being Elizabethtown, Catholic, and Moravian.
Senior Kallan Carter led the team with a 21st place finish and a time of 22:52.2. Junior Emma Myers followed with a time of 23:45.9 which was good for 55th place. First-year Griane Reed placed 74th with their time of 24:05.9. Rebekah Jones was the next across the line, placing 103rd with a time of 24:33.7. Jordan Bender followed her fellow sophomore closely behind, finishing in 136th with a time of 25:03. 8. First-year Kylie Dixon was 191st, crossing the line at 26:18.6. Sophomore Sophia Pasquariello rounded out the top finishers for SU in 209th with a time of 26:46.6.
Sophomore Grace Farrer would put up a lifetime best time of 28:49.7 in the 6k Open Race.
The team will now have their eye on the Landmark Conference Championships, which will take place on Saturday, October 29 and be hosted by Goucher College.
