SELINSGROVE, PA – Susquehanna University football heads into their first home game of the Landmark Conference season Saturday, welcoming Keystone in the Giants' first-ever visit to Doug Arthur Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. The River Hawks return to the Grove coming off their first successful road trek of the season, beating Western New England two weeks ago, 34-21, then Catholic in their conference opener, 48-14. Susquehanna also brings back with them its highest national rankings ever under head coach
Tom Perkovich at number eight in the D3football.com Top 25 and number nine by the AFCA.
Keystone, an affiliate member in the Landmark Conference for football, got its first dosage of Susquehanna last year in La Plume, with the River Hawks winning overwhelmingly, 69-0. The Giants are in their fourth competitive season since the college restarted the football program in 2019. The River Hawks meanwhile, in their 125th competitive season, are three wins away from amassing 500 all-time victories, currently with 497.

Kickoff specialist
Dominic Bourgeois was named the Landmark Conference's Special Teams Player of the Week, sending five balls in the air on the Cardinals in the opening half for 309 yards, an average of 61.8 yards, including three touchbacks. Fellow Landmark weekly award specialist and kicker/punter
Christian Colasurdo, who earned Special Teams nods in Week 3, is 3-for-4 on field goals this season and 23-of-26 on extra points. His career numbers are 18-of-23 on field goals, including one blocked, and 78 extra points made.
At the halfway point Ehrlich's numbers add up to 14 passing touchdowns, waiting until Saturday's matchup at Catholic for his first interception of the season to come up. He has completed 103 passes on 149 tries for 1,320 yards to lead the conference, while covering 326 yards on the ground on 61 carries to rank second on the team. La Mons holds the team and Landmark lead with 490 yards rushing on 70 touches, an average of 7.0 yards per carry, along with six rushing TDs. The rookie has also been prolific as a receiving threat, breaking out through the secondary for three touchdown receptions off of 23 receptions for 329 yards. Howes, meanwhile, is the team's leading target with 28 catches for 439 yards and six touchdown receptions, along with one rushing score. He ranks third all-time in school history with 155 career receptions and 2,134 yards receiving, while tied for third with Al Bucci (1984-87) for 25 career touchdown catches.
On defense
Garrett Carter, who racked up a Landmark Defensive Player of the Week nod after Week 1's 41-7 victory over Bridgewater, leads the team with 38 total tackles, including 12 solo and six for loss, while administering a pair of sacks. Lineman
Jake Schultes leads in sacks with three, breaking into the top five all-time at Susquehanna with 12 career sacks. He has registered 18 total tackles this season, including six solo and four for loss. Junior lineman
Brian Layton has broken out as another pass-rushing threat, currently with 2.5 sacks on the season to go with 20 total tackles, including five solo and 3.5 for loss.
