WILLIAMSPORT, PA - Susquehanna men's soccer traveled to Lycoming on Saturday with all to play for in the Landmark Conference playoff race, but a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Warriors spelled the end of their playoff hopes with one game to go.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams had early chances in the first half-hour, with Finn Kramer coming up with two saves before Javier Diaz troubled the Warriors' defense and forced a save, leading to two successive corners.
- Lycoming won a 34th-minute penalty, which Christian Woobay converted past Kramer to put Susquehanna behind before half-time.
- Owen Kaar's effort missed high from a dead-ball following a Woobay foul in the 41st minute.
- The second goal came for the Warriors in the 56th minute, as Kramer was unable to keep out an effort from Aidan Stillman.
- Late efforts by Diaz and Sam Netzley saw the River Hawks come close, but they were unable to eat into the deficit.

- Susquehanna managed five shots over the 90 minutes, while Lycoming took 17, finding the target with eight to the River Hawks' one, which was taken by Diaz. Kramer kept six Lycoming shots out to make it 78 saves on an impressive rookie campaign, the best per-game mark in the Landmark.
- The River Hawks won four corners to Lycoming's two, and committed 19 fouls while the Warriors committed 15. Susquehanna saw one yellow card, while Lycoming were shown two.
- Diaz represented the solitary change to the Susquehanna starting eleven from the previous game, as he came in to start on the wing.

- Susquehanna moves to 5-9-3 on the year, with a 1-4-3 clip in Landmark play. Defeat in Williamsport means they have been eliminated from postseason contention, but they will complete their 2025 campaign at home when Goucher come to visit on Tuesday, October 28th.
