SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna looked to have a clear path to victory Thursday night at Messiah, opening with a pair of 25-22 wins for a two-set lead. The Falcons, however, stormed back with 25-16 and 25-13 victories to send the match to a tiebreaking set. The River Hawks earned the first three points of game five to lift them to a 15-9 victory in the set to take a 3-2 win. The team looks to carry the momentum into their final Landmark Conference games this weekend, hosting Goucher on Friday at 7 p.m. and Catholic on Saturday at 1 p.m.

- The River Hawks had to contend with four Falcons totaling double digits in kills including 16 from Makenzie Adams.Â
- Messiah had a staggering 60-38 lead in kills over Susquehanna as they held a .139 hitting percentage to the River Hawks' .067. The Falcons did, though commit 35 attack errors and eight service errors.Â
- Susquehanna's front line was on call all night with nine total blocks, including six block assists from Sami Kline, five from Stella Robinson, two BA's from Addison Dodge with one block solo, and three block assists from Kyndall Mason.
- Mason led the team with 11 kills, totaling two service aces and eight digs for 14.5 total points. Kline had nine kills on the evening with 12 points, while Dodge had eight kills for ten points.Â
- Sarah Murphy led with four service aces, while totaling 11 assists and seven digs. Setter Elliott Schleicher led SU with 20 assists.Â
- Valerie Stoltz had two service aces with six kills for eight total points. Amelia Secor had two service aces on the night.
- Senior libero and defensive specialist Jessica Sack had the final service ace of the River Hawks' 11 for the evening, along with adding 16 more digs for her career total that puts her sixth all-time with 1,546 at Susquehanna.

- Susquehanna celebrates senior night Friday against Landmark-foe Goucher at home at 7 p.m. The River Hawks then host Catholic in their final conference match of 2025 Saturday at 1 p.m., with potential Landmark Tournament implications at stake.
