SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna football parlayed another fine performance Saturday into more Landmark weekly accolades as kicker
Dominic Bourgeois was named the conference's Specialist of the Week for the fourth time this year, while quarterback
Josh Ehrlich was chosen Offensive Athlete of the Week for the second time in 2025. Both contributed to the River Hawks' resounding 34-0 victory at Western Connecticut State to run their record to 6-2 overall and 4-0 in the Landmark entering this Saturday's conference home matchup against Wilkes at 12 noon.
Ehrlich carved out another noteworthy afternoon, completing 20-of-27 passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for a 100-yard game with 105 on the ground on 18 carries. Susquehanna led at halftime 14-0 thanks to a pair of Ehrlich touchdown strikes, both to first-year receiver
Daniel Growney, while his third came on a 31-yard scoring strike to
Hunter Morgenroth for the team's first touchdown of the second half to lead 24-0. The third-year starting quarterback moves his career numbers up to 67 career passing touchdowns at Susquehanna, which is second all-time, while his 105 rushing yards puts him over the 2,000 career yard mark. His season passing numbers are worth nothing, totaling 21 touchdown passes with just one interception, while completing 143-of-195 for a 73.33 completion percentage.
Bourgeois once again tallied a good day kicking the ball between field goals, extra points, and kickoffs. He made both his field goal tries, spanning 20 and 27 yards, while going 4-for-4 on all his extra point attempts. He kicked off seven times for 384 yards with four touchbacks, averaging 54.9 yards per kickoff. He also punted once for 32 yards. Bourgeois, who racked up his fourth Landmark weekly accord of the season, is now 10-for-10 on field goals in 2025, two away from the school record of 12 held by three kickers -
Christian Colasurdo (2023), Elijah Hoffman (2021), and Randy Helt (1988).
