Haberern, Lavitt Follow Up Great Campaigns with CSC Academic All-District®

SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna men's basketball enjoyed another positive campaign, aided by the work of Cooper Haberern and Brandon Lavitt. Tuesday offered the two more to cheer about with their selections to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators. Haberern lit it up from 3-point range and above the 3.5 cumulative GPA mark all season long majoring in Finance. Lavitt enjoyed another chapter of his storied career, while majoring in Management.

The tandem's academic work fell in line with an equally-impressive Susquehanna men's basketball campaign that saw the River Hawks win 15 games overall and an 11-7 Landmark record to capture the fourth seed for the Landmark Tournament. Looking at a 5-7 record in early January, Susquehanna ran off five consecutive Landmark victories and seven of their next eight. They even avenged an early-season defeat to Moravian by not only beating the Greyhounds 92-69 in January for their fifth straight win, but also defeating them in overtime of the conference quarterfinals by a 100-90 score, outscoring the Greyhounds in the extra frame, 18-8. Haberern ranked second in the Landmark with 79 threes made for a 40.7 3-point field goal percentage, including a career high of eight late in the year against Juniata. Lavitt ranked fifth in the conference with 6.2 rebounds per game and seventh with a 52.2 field goal percentage (97-of-186), averaging 9.6 points per game to rank fourth on the team.
