SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna men's basketball has unveiled their 2025-26 schedule, packed with competitive match ups throughout. Head coach Frank Marcinek is back for his 37th year at the helm. Returning standout players, such as previous All-Landmark selections Brandon Lavitt and Billy Anderson, all return to help pursue another shot at the Landmark Conference championship. Since their last title in 2022, the men have reached the semifinals every year since, including another title game appearance in 2024.
The River Hawks begin the season on the road against Delaware Valley University on November 8th. Returning home, the River Hawks host the Mike Scheib '78 Tip-Off Tournament, featuring a game against King's College (Pa.) on November 14. The winner of this game will advance to the Championship game against the winner of Notre Dame (Md.) and York (Pa.) that takes place place prior to the SU-King's matchup. The loser of both games will face off against each other on November 15 in a consolation match up.
Continuing the home stand, Susquehanna welcomes conference opponent Juniata College on November 19, before leaving for Elizabethtown on November 22 to take on the Blue Jays in their first Landmark road game of the slate.
Susquehanna returns to Selinsgrove for a three game home stand beginning on November 25 against Penn State Harrisburg. Wilkes comes to Garrett next, as the River Hawks take on the Colonels on December 3. The last game of the calendar year in the United States is against the Greyhounds of Moravian University on December 6.
The River Hawks head south for the winter all the way to Puerto Rico to participate in the D3 Basketball Clasico. For the first time in program history, the River Hawks take on the University of Chicago, followed by Johns Hopkins on December 18 and 20, respectively.
Returning back to Selinsgrove, the River Hawks take on Arcadia University in the first game of the new year, on January 3. The remainder of the SU season is against Landmark foes, beginning with a visit to Lycoming College on January 7. The University of Scranton is slated next for SU, as the Royals pay a visit to Susquehanna on January 10. Leaving SU for Washington D.C. is up next for the orange and maroon as they take on the Cardinals of Catholic University on January 14. Drew University welcomes the River Hawks on January 17 for their first of two Conference match ups against each other.
Susquehanna returns home on January 21 to take on Goucher College, followed by a second home match up against Elizabethtown College on January 24. The River Hawks head on the road for three straight games beginning with a visit to Juniata College on January 28. Moravian University and Wilkes University are SU's next two road match ups with Moravian welcoming Susquehanna on January 31, followed by a visit to Wilkes on February 4.
SU's next two matchups are against Lycoming College and Catholic University, both with the River Hawks staying in Selinsgrove. Lycoming takes the short drive over on February 7, followed by a February 11 match up against Catholic.
With three games remaining in the regular season, the River Hawks go on the road for two of them. On February 14, SU takes on the University of Scranton, followed by the final road match up of the regular season on February 18 against Goucher College. Wrapping up the regular season at home Susquehanna takes on Drew University in a rematch of last year's Landmark Conference Semifinals on February 21.
The Landmark Conference has announced the tournament dates, beginning on February 24 with the first round games. February 26 marks the Landmark Conference Semifinals, followed by the Championship games being played on February 28.
Susquehanna heads into the season full of hope and high aspirations, as the team continues to strive for their first Landmark Conference Championship Title since the 2021-22 season.
