Six Seniors Reach Men's Lacrosse All-Landmark Team

SELINSGROVE, PA - Six Susquehanna University men's lacrosse student-athletes achieved conference-wide adulation Wednesday with the announcement of the All-Landmark Team. The list featured two First Team selections in Jack Gaillard and Kieran Thomas, along with three Second Team mentions in Chris Ciccarello, Aidan Kennedy and Marshall Woodrosky. Brennan Lorence was named an Honorable Mention.

Susquehanna's distinguished members mark a familiar place for a few as Gaillard, Thomas, Lorence, Kennedy, Woodrosky were named to the 2024 All-Landmark Team, including Lorence as the Offensive Player of the Year. Furthermore it marked the third time for Lorence, Kennedy, and Thomas, having also earned honors back in 2023. The news does come with some melancholy as all six are seniors, making their all-league status a fitting conclusion to one of the greatest four-year runs in program history.

Head coach Stewart Moan's program raced out to a 5-0 start to the season, then endured some hardship going into a competitive Landmark season where the six seeds for the league tournament boasted no worse than a 5-4 conference record. Susquehanna and Moravian both earned 5-4 monikers, with the River Hawks seeded sixth and a first-round date at third-seeded Drew, who they defeated earlier in the season. On Tuesday night Susquehanna completed the season sweep of the Rangers by a 13-8 score, becoming the first sixth seed in the Landmark Men's Lacrosse Tournament to advance to the next round, where they're slated to head to Elizabethtown in the semifinals Thursday at 4 p.m. Furthermore Susquehanna stands at 13-5 on the season, with just one win separating them from their program record of 14 set last year.
