Men's Cross Country Dan Graham

Cross Country Ready to Go for 2025

SELINSGROVE, PA - The Susquehanna University men's and women's cross country programs, led by head coach Jeremiah "JJ" Clinchoc, have big plans in store this fall for another serious run at the Landmark Championships and the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals. Drew University is set to host this year's Landmark title run on Saturday, Nov. 1, while Dickinson's course is the site for this year's regionals on Saturday, Nov. 15.

To get there the River Hawks have four regular-season races to prepare them, starting on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Lebanon Valley's Dutchmen Invitational. They then head down to Carlisle on Sept. 27 for a regional course preview at Dickinson's Long-Short Invitational. The following weekend is Lehigh University where Susquehanna will compete in the historic Paul Short Invitational. The regular season wraps up on Oct. 18 when they visit Gettysburg College and its Aubrey Shenk Invitational.

A few key Susquehanna names returning this fall are junior Sophia Bostwick, who has finished All-Landmark the last two seasons, incuding an Honorable Mention showing in 2024 after finishing 15th overall as the River Hawks placed fifth. While a few notable runners will be studying abroad this fall, another face back for the women is sophomore Ava Warner, who made it all the way to regionals last season, the only first-year on the roster to do so. The men's side includes junior Evander Lackman, who turned in an All-Landmark Honorable Mention finish last November in 18th place as the men's harriers finished third, one spot above their Pre-Championship Poll allotment. More returners for the River Hawks men includes Thomas McGann, Aaron Koloswosky, and Hunter Valentino. All ran at regionals last year, finishing around the 27-minute mark in the 8K race.
