SEPTEMBER 21, 2025 - Susquehanna women's tennis opened their season this weekend, traveling to Scranton for a Saturday afternoon Landmark Conference matchup. They then welcomed Lebanon Valley to their newly-renovated Garrett Tennis Courts on Sunday. Both resulted in 7-0 defeats for the River Hawks. 

How it Happened (Doubles Matches)-Scranton: 

• Amelia Maguire and Macey DiBastiani fall 0-6 in the singles #1 match. 

• Nanci Major and Mackenzie Romig were defeated in the #2 singles match, 6-2. 

• Emma McCann and Abigail Freeman fall in the singles #3 match, 4-6. 

How it Happened (Singles Matches)-Scranton: 

• SU lost the #1 and #3 singles matches, 0-6, 0-6. 

• The River Hawks dropped the #2 singles set, 4-6, 2-6. 

• The #4 singles match belonged to the Royals, 2-6, 1-6. 

• The #5 and #6 singles matches both were won by the Royals. 

How it Happened (Doubles Matches)-Lebanon Valley: 

• Dibastiani and Maguire dropped the opening, 6-0. 

• Major and Romig fell against Megan Martin and Katie Berra in the #2 doubles match, 6-1. 

• McCann and Freeman lost the #3 doubles match, 6-4. 

How it Happened (Singles Matches)-Lebanon Valley: 

• The River Hawks valiantly fought in all six singles matches, but ultimately, came up short. The #1 singles match was dropped by Mackenzie Romig, 4-6, 1-6. 

• Kaiya Reisinger dropped the #2 singles match, 0-6, 1-6. 

• Nanci Major was defeated in the #3 singles match, 0-6, 0-6. Amelia Maguire was defeated in the #4 singles match in similar fashion. 

• The #5 singles match belonged to LVC, 0-6, 0-6. 

• SU fell in the #6 singles match, 3-6, 4-6.
