SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna men's golf first-year
Jax Puskar collected already his second Landmark Conference Golfer of the Week after medaling at the River Hawks' own Fall Invitational Thursday at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club, shooting a 71 (+1) as the team won its first tournament in 15 years.
Puskar led a dominating Susquehanna squad that scored a 293 team score (+13), with Puskar claiming first and
Jonathan Spohn finishing second with a 72 two-over-par score. They were joined in the top ten by teammates
Rider Nicholl and first-year and last week's Landmark Golfer of the Week recipient
Jonny Zadravec. Both finished tenth with 75 (+5) scores. Puskar posted three birdies and shot one-under-par on the front nine.
Puskar and the River Hawks are on the course Tuesday for Albright's Northampton Cup, then head down to our nationa's capital this weekend for Catholic University's Cardinal Fall Classic.
