DALLAS, Pa. — The Susquehanna University men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Misericordia University Saturday afternoon, earning victories at the top two singles positions and one doubles.

Owen Miller accounted for all of the River Hawks' victories over the Cougars as the number-one tandem and at the top two singles spots.
How It Went Down
- Susquehanna opened the match with a victory at No. 1 doubles, as Owen Miller and Daniel Murphy defeated Brett Bastian and James Martin, 6-3. Misericordia claimed the other two doubles matches to secure the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead.
- The River Hawks responded in singles play with a pair of convincing victories at the top of the lineup. Miller dominated at No. 1 singles, blanking Bastian, 6-0, 6-0, while Murphy followed with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Dominic Brower at No. 2 singles.
- Misericordia secured the remaining four singles matches to clinch the 5-2 team victory. Dante Neely fell 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, while Max Persing and Nathan Hepner dropped their respective matches at No. 5 and No. 6.
- Griffin Yereance put together a competitive performance at No. 4 singles, splitting the first two sets with Eli Harding before falling in the deciding set, 7-5.
