GETTYSBURG, Pa. — The Susquehanna University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Gettysburg College Wednesday evening at Bream Gymnasium. The River Hawks fell by set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-27 and 25-19. Susquehanna moved to 3-10 overall following the setback, while Gettysburg improved to 12-4.
How It Went Down
- Gettysburg controlled the opening two sets, taking the first 25-11 before earning a 25-13 victory in the second. The River Hawks responded in the third set, putting together their strongest offensive performance of the night.
- Susquehanna recorded 14 kills against just three errors in the third set, hitting .314 as a team. The River Hawks held off the Bullets, 27-25, to extend the match to a fourth set.
- Gettysburg answered in the fourth, hitting .357 with 19 kills to close out the match with a 25-19 victory.
