MADISON, NJ - Susquehanna women's lacrosse rode into Drew University for a Saturday afternoon Landmark Conference showdown and left with yet another Landmark victory, defeating the Rangers 12-7. The River Hawks won their fifth Conference game in dominating fashion.
Abby Andrus contributed greatly to the River Hawks quick start, scoring three of the first four goals of the game to give Susquehanna a lead they never dropped.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
- The game started relatively slowly until Abby DiComes broke the stalemate with a free position goal.
- Andrus then got hot, scoring three goals to give the River Hawks a four goal lead with 7:26 left in the first.
- Both teams remained scoreless for the rest of the quarter until Madi Strong got on the board for Drew with a man-down goal.
- Sloane Coddington started off the scoring in the second quarter with a goal off of a Waverly Oake-Libow pass.
- Just a few minutes later Jessica Russo scored off an Andrus assist to make the score 6-1 with 12:06 left in the second.
- Sophia Trivelt tallied another River Hawk goal before the Rangers fired back off of the stick of Grace Patane.
- Andrus followed that up with her fourth goal of the game to make it 8-2 with 8:22 left in the quarter.
- The final goal of the quarter was scored by Russo, her second of the game.
- Drew's Regina Williams scored to open up the new half making it 9-3.
- After 10 minutes of no scores from either side, DiComes scored her second goal of the game to end the third quarter with the River Hawks up by seven.
- Â Russo wasted no time netting her third of the game to begin the fourth quarter.
- Oake-Libow assisted another Susquehanna goal, this time from Andrus, bringing her game goal total to five.
- From that point on, Susquehanna was held scoreless for the remainder of the game, and Drew netted four goals to end the game at 12-7.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Andrus and Russo both totaled six points in the game, Andrus had five goals and one assist while Russo had three goals and three assists.
- DiComes scored two goals, and Trively and Coddington scored the other Susquehanna goals.
- Patane, Strong, Williams, and Kristina Lowe all scored for Drew.
- Oake-Libow led both teams in assists with four.
- Aerin O'Brien was in goal the entire game, saving seven shots and allowing 10 goals.
- Susquehanna had 11 draw controls to Drew's 10. Coddington led the River Hawks with four and Zoey Pipher led Drew with five.
- Drew led in shots with 27 to Susquehanna's 25, but the River Hawks led in shots on goal with 18 compared to Drew's 15.

- The River Hawks return to Sassafras Field for their last homestand of the season on Wednesday, April 15, against Catholic University. They follow that up with with a game against the University of Scranton also at home on April 18.
