SELINSGROVE, PA - The Susquehanna women's tennis team competed in a busy weekend slate, traveling to Bethlehem, PA, to take on Moravian on Saturday before returning home to face Wilkes on Sunday. The River Hawks fell to Moravian, 0-7, and Wilkes, 2-5. The River Hawks finish their season 5-10 overall (2-7 Landmark). They currently rank eighth in the conference.
HOW IT WENT DOWN VS MORAVIAN
THE DOUBLES MATCHES:
- In the top doubles position, Alexa Wanamaker and Kaiya Reisinger fell to Izzy Szmodis and Leah Zolotareva 0-6.
- In the two-spot match, Macey DiBastini and Amelia Maguire dropped their match to Kaelyn Balko and Jenna Gower 3-6.
- Rounding out doubles play, Abigail Freeman and Emma Church were defeated by Madi Schottman and Sydney Shifman, 1-6.
THE SINGLES MATCHES:
- In the premier singles spot, Alexa Wanamaker dropped her match to Leah Zolotareva 2-6, 1-6.
- Mackenzie Roming fell to Sydney Shifman in the two-spot 0-6, 3-6.
- The third spot saw Katherine Yoder drop her match against Kaelyn Balko 1-6, 0-6.
- Nanci Major dropped the four singles match against Fraukje van Baars 1-6, 2-6.
- In the five spot, Claire Gallager battled in a three-set match but ultimately fell to Madi Schottman 6-2, 7-6 (6-8). 8-10.
- Rounding out singles play, Elizabeth Vitale fell to Jenna Gower 3-6, 0-6.

THE DOUBLES MATCHES:
- In the top spot, Alexa Wanamaker and Mackenzie Roming dropped their match to Ana Savkovic and Julia Spaeth 0-6.
- Amelia Maguire and Macey DiBastini defeated Isabel Schreffler and Ava Vacula in the two-spot 6-3.
- Rounding out singles play, Katherine Yoder and Kaiya Reisinger secured a close win against Isabella Bopp and Kensington Edmond, 7-6 (7-5).
THE SINGLES MATCHES:
- In the opening singles match, Alexa Wanamaker fell to Ana Savkovic, 0-6, 1-6.
- Mackenzie Roming dropped her match in the two spot to Isabel Schreffler, 0-6, 3-6.
- The third spot saw Kaiya Reisinger drop her match to Julia Spaeth, 3-6, 0-6.
- Katherine Yoder was defeated in a close 4-6, 2-6 match against Kensington Edmond.
- In the five-spot, Amelia Maguire fell in a tight 3-6, 6-2, 7-10 match against Ava Vacula.
- Rounding out singles play, Claire Gallager took home the lone singles win, beating Isabella Bopp 6-3, 7-5.
