Domaracki's Complete Game Shutout Receives Landmark Accords

SELINSGROVE, PA - Josh Domaracki pitched his first career complete game shutout Saturday against Drew as Susquehanna Baseball narrowly won a 1-0 duel at Elizabethtown. The left-handed pitcher picked up his second Landmark Pitcher of the Week this season for his performance.

Domaracki set another career high with 108 pitches thrown in the close contest, but only had to face 31 batters to get all 27 outs. He struck out five Blue Jays and walked just two of them while allowing three hits. With two runners on in the third, Domaracki got one of E-Town's top hitters, David Woolley, to ground into an inning-ending double play. It would be the only inning where the Blue Jays had two or more runners on as Domaracki surrendered just two more hits the rest of the way and just one hit over the final three innings.

Domaracki and the River Hawks currently sit in second place in the Landmark standings at 13-6 in the conference and 22-12 overall. They are one game ahead of third-place Scranton, who they will face in this weekend's three-game series in the Electric City. Susquehanna heads to Lycoming this Wednesday for the series finale with the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. They have one game remaining to play with Wilkes.
