SELINSGROVE, PA - Five members of the Susquehanna University women's lacrosse team received mention to the 2026 All-Landmark Conference Team. First-year
Abby DiComes was named the Landmark Rookie of the Year. Three River Hawks were named to the Second Team in
Abby Andrus,
Kimberly Nagengast and
Aerin O'Brien, while
Sloane Coddington was accorded Honorable Mention.
The River Hawks entered 2026 knowing they had a good senior group in front of them to cover all areas of the field. This included the goalie O'Brien and the attacker Andrus, both of whom have started since their rookie seasons in 2023, as well as Nagengast, who helped solidify the defense as well as the draw controls. The team opened with stiff non-conference competition and a Spring Break trip to Florida for a two-game stretch. Going into the March Susquehanna formed an identity, breaking in new role players such as DiComes, who became one of the team's newest scoring threats. The River Hawks led the Landmark Conference with 7.58 assists per game and 144 total assists, led by
Waverly Oake-Libow's 42 assists that ranked third in the league. Andrus' 60 goals finished third in the Landmark, while she and
Jessica Russo placed in the top ten in the league with 75 points for fifth and 60 points for ninth, respectively. All these efforts helped steer Susquehanna to a 6-3 Landmark record towards capturing the fourth seed for the conference tournament, beating Drew in the opening round 12-7 for a season sweep of the Rangers reaching the semifinals for the fourth straight year.
