CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Susquehanna University women's soccer team continued its historic start to the 2026 season Saturday afternoon, earning a 2-0 shutout victory over DeSales University. With the win, the River Hawks improve to 4-0 on the season, marking the best start in program history.
How It Went Down
- Susquehanna broke through late in the opening half, with Ella Briggs finding the back of the net in the 37th minute. Briggs' second goal of the season came off an assist from Hannah Parslow, giving the River Hawks a 1-0 advantage heading into halftime.
- Susquehanna wasted little time adding to its lead after the break. Amelia Kopp scored just 3:58 into the second half, finishing off a pass from Nicole Freiler to push the River Hawks ahead 2-0.
