Freshman Eric Towse placed first and broke the record in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:52.25 on Friday afternoon for the Susquehanna Swimming and Diving team at the Gettysburg Invitational. Towse also placed 4th in the 400-yard IM and 8th in the 200-yard IM.

The following day Towse broke his own record in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.32.

Being the last meet of the fall semester, Towse and the River Hawks will travel to Florida for a training trip at the end of December before traveling to Franklin and Marshall for a meet on January 13th.
