- The River Hawks owned a 1-0 lead as senior Nicholas Meale (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) and freshman Emil Vyskocil (Cornwall-on-the-Hudson) picked up an 8-5 triumph at No. 3 doubles.
- Northwestern (Minn.) then evened up the match with a thrilling 8-7 (7-3) victory at second doubles.
- Seniors Alex Cocolas (High Bridge, N.J./Voorhees) and Alex Dove (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) sent Susquehanna into singles action with a 2-1 advantage following their own exciting 8-7 (7-3) win at No. 1 doubles.

- The Eagles rolled in singles play, claiming three straight wins at No. 6, No. 4, and No. 1 singles to stake a 4-2 lead.
- Senior captain Ben Ornstein (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) posted a 6-3, 7-6 (7-1) win at second singles while Cocolas tallied a 6-3, 5-7, 10-8 victory at No. 5 singles to knot the match at 4-4.
- Austin Bricker helped Northwestern claim its third straight win as Bricker earned a 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles for the fifth and final point.
