Box Score Helena Woytovich, Stephanie Dowling, Kathrina Demaio and Katie Hoerman all scored three goals apiece and Gabi Toohey added two of her own as the Susquehanna University Women's Lacrosse won its third straight game with a score of 16-10 at Alvernia in Reading.
 
How It Happened

• The Golden Wolves (2-4) scored the first goal of the contest just 1:27 into the game, but the River Hawks (4-4) answered with three straight scored as Demaio, Woytovich and Katie Hoerman notched their first goals.
• Alvernia would score twice to tie the score, but Susquehanna added another two goals by Kaitlin Homberg and Gabi Toohey to retake the lead. Leading 5-4, the River Hawks would score five critical goals in a row to get some separation. Nicole Hauck got in on the action as Hoerman and Demaio continued to add to their strong statistics.
• The second half saw the Golden Wolves stay in the contest, but the River Hawks maintained a comfortable edge throughout. Dowling opened up the scoring and Woytovich added some insurance in the early going to keep the team on top.
• Alvernia would get to within 12-8, but that is as close as they would get to a comeback and the River Hawks ran away with a 16-10 victory. Dowling closed the second half with her third goal and the River Hawks outscored the Golden Wolves 6-5 in the period.

 
Inside the Box Score

• This contest saw balanced scoring throughout, as the four aforementioned River Hawks tallied three goals apiece. Beyond Toohey's two-goal contest Hauck and Homberg round out the players on the scoresheet.
• With another well-rounded game, Demaio also added three assists. She now leads the team in total points with 23.
• Katie Hoerman led the way with five draw controls and three caused turnovers. She and Dowling each had four ground balls.
• Libby Dex made seven saves in net.
