TOWSON, MD (April 1, 2022) -- The Susquehanna University men's outdoor track and field program sent a small contingent to the 2022 Towson Invitational Friday afternoon, competing in a limited amount of events against a strong Division I field at Johnny Unitas Stadium.
Sophomore
Tyler Hauk finished 18th in the men's hammer throw with a new personal-best mark of 40.63 meters while Ryan MacDonald just missed his career-best toss with a 36.08 meter toss. MacDonald would take 19th place in the shot put with a best-throw of 12.08 meters, and Hauk earned 21st place after registering a best toss of 11.33 meters.
First-year
Ezra Miller earned 14th place in the 400 meter hurdles after clocking in with a 58.39 seconds, while
Ian Dyson chalked up a new personal-best time in the 100 meter dash with a 10.91 seconds. The time was the tied for the eighth-best time in program history, equaling the mark of Josh Simpson at the 2010 Landmark Conference Championships.
Senior Jonathan White just missed setting his new personal-best, clocking in with an 11.39 in the 100 meters which was just 0.03 seconds off her previous collegiate best. Junior
Jack Warehime has a solid day in the 1500 meter dash as he earned ninth place after crossing the finish line in 4:06.51.
