LEWISBURG, PA (April 16, 2022) -- Susquehanna University junior jumper Bryce Ellinger was the lone River Hawk track and field athletes in competition on Saturday, as he entered in the high jump at the 2022 Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. 

Ellinger finished fourth overall after clearing 1.99 meters on the day. Ellinger passed at 1.89 meters, and then soared over 1.94 meters on his first attempt. After missing on the first attempt at a height of 1.99 meters, he cleared that on his second attempt. Ellinger though wouldn't be able to get over the bar at 2.04 meters, finishing tied for fourth with Lonnie Harper of Youngstown State.
