LOCK HAVEN, PA (September 24, 2022) -- The Susquehanna University women's cross country competed as a team at the 2022 Lock Haven Invitational, sending runners into both the crimson and white races in action from the West Branch Cross Country Course at Stern Family Athletic Complex.
Today's field included over 40 teams from nine states that stretched across all divisions including NCAA Division I, III, III. In the white race, first-year
Grace Evans had a strong finish as she led the River Hawks across the line with a time of 25:34.1 for 33rd place. Sophomore
Sydney Mitros was 42nd overall with a time of 25:59.6, while senior
Meghan McDonald finished 68th with a time of 27:01.4.

Sophia Pasquariello was right behind McDonald with a time of 27:06.8 and
Katrina Hook added a time of 28:09.6 for 91st place. SU also saw
Grace Farrer earn a time of 29:40.3.
The crimson race saw senior
Kallan Carter have a strong race as she finished 26th overall with a time of 22:25.9, fourth-best among Division III runners. Sophomore
Emma Myers finished 90th overall with a time of 23:41.6, and sophomore
Jordan Bender was second in the race for the River Hawks with a time of 23:54.9. First-year
Griane Reed finished fourth for Susquehanna and 135th overall with a time of 24:16.8, while sophomore
Rebekah Jones was 208th overall after crossing the line in 25:43.7.
First-year
Kylie Dixon finished the racers for SU in the crimson race, logging a time of 25:53.1, as the River Hawks were 18th as a team with 487 points.
