Box Score SELINSGROVE, PA. (March 18, 2023) – Susquehanna women's tennis began their spring season Saturday with a Landmark Conference home match versus Catholic. The three doubles team of Grace Tepes and Sophia Koons gave the River Hawks their only victory of the day against Bridget McCabe and Paige Brightwell by an 8-6 score.

The one doubles team of Julie Bramley and Chelsea Kneedler waged a close contest against Brooke Simonson and Abbey Cassidy, sending the match to a tiebreaker tied at 7, but ultimately fell to the Cardinals tandem 10-2 in the tiebreaker. Kristen Bair took Catholic's Aubree Narus to three sets at four singles, overcoming a 6-2 first-set defeat by prevailing in the second via the tiebreaker 7-6 (5), only for Narus to come back in set three to take a 10-8 win.

The River Hawks return to the court next weekend for Landmark Conference play at Scranton Saturday, Mar. 25.
