SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna University men's tennis won all their matches Saturday afternoon against Marywood to take a 7-0 win to run their record to 3-1 with three more fall matches to play.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
- Susquehanna won all three of its doubles matches, with the one team of Logan Rauschenberger and Tyler Hester winning 6-2, followed by the two tandem of Daniel Murphy and Owen Miller winning 6-1 and the three team of Austin Imhoof and Nathan Bassett prevailing 6-4.
- All six doubles participants moved on to win their singles matches, including Rauschenberger at the one spot winning 6-1 and 6-0.
- Miller competed at two singles to breeze to a pair of 6-0 set wins.
- Imhoof handily won the first set of his three singles match, 6-2, then had to dig deep to win his second set in tiebreaking fashion, 7-6 (3).
- Tyler Hester won four singles with 6-3 and 6-2 scores.
- Bassett used a pair of 6-2 wins to take five singles.
- Murphy completed the sweep by winning his six singles matchup, 6-0 and 6-2.
