Michaels, Henchy Named All-Landmark First Team; Billmeyer Second Team

SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna University women's soccer struck three All-Landmark honorees, with Chloe Michaels and Katie Henchy being honored to the First-Team and Ava Billmeyer being named Second Team. This is the second All-Landmark selection for Michaels, who wrapped up her noteworthy Susquehanna career this fall. She was a Second Team All-Landmark selection in 2023.

The River Hawks headlined a season filled with anticipation, as the team clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2023. SU wrapped up their season in the semifinals against Scranton, falling to the one seeded Royals 1-0, after a thrilling penalty kick finish against Elizabethtown College. In a Conference filled with competitive teams, such as Scranton, Catholic, and Lycoming, the River Hawks punched their ticket to the Landmark Conference Playoffs after fending off Goucher College in the regular season finale, 1-nil. SU earned the five seed in the conference, setting up a date with four seed Elizabethtown College, where Susquehanna defeated the Blue Jays in penalty kicks, 4-2. Henchy made a sprawling save to clinch the win for the River Hawks, advancing the team to the semifinals for the first time since 2022. The capper for the regular season was the River Hawks handing the Lycoming Warriors their one and only tie of the season, edging SU one step closer to the playoffs. Heading into the season finale, a win over Goucher guaranteed the team a spot to compete for the title of Landmark Conference Champions.
