Women Take on Potent Messiah Swim Team

MECHANISBURG, PA - Susquehanna women's swimming made the trip down to face Messiah in some Friday night dual meet action, with the Falcons pulling out a 147-113 win.

How it Happened:

Hannah Nash, Jillie Donner, Erika Guche, and Payton Kenney all claimed a second place finish in the opening race, posting a time of 1:59.66 in the 200 yard medley relay.
Matilda Klinetob claimed first place in the 1000 yard freestyle race, tallying a time of 11:31.21.
Heading into the 200 yard freestyle, Emma Church took home the bronze medal, showcasing a time of 2:07.30.
Catherine Sirignano and Hannah Nash took first and seond, respectively, in the 100 yard backstroke, showing times of 1:06.02, and 1:06.92.
The River Hawks continued their push with first place finishes in the 100 yard breaststroke, with Erika Guche showing a time of 1:13.20.
Maddie Lebkicker pushed her name to the top, showing a first place finish in the 200 yard butterfly, with a time of 2:27.27.
The 100 yard freestyle once again saw a River Hawk take second place, with Emma Church showing a time of 58.00.
Jillie Donner took second place in the 200 yard breaststroke, showcasing a time of 2:41.42.
Matilda Klinetob took first place in the 500 yard freestyle, with Kate Wolford taking second place. SU showed times of 5:42.14 and 5:46.25, respectively.
Guche won the 100 yard butterfly, tallying a time of 1:04.74.
Alvino, Sirignano, Kenney, and Church took second place in the final event of the afternoon, the 400 yard freestyle relay. SU posted a time of 3:57.56.
