SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna baseball has unveiled their 2026 schedule, packed with competitive match ups throughout. Head coach Denny Bowers returns for his 21st season as the team looks for a return to the Landmark Tournament and for a certain group of seniors their second Landmark title since the River Hawks' last championship in 2023.
The Diamond River Hawks have a tall task this spring to return to the Landmark Tournament, especially with the departure of a stellar senior class that included All-Landmark selections in infielder

Jack Greco, who also received All-Region honors after a 7-2 season in 2025. One key senior this year set to make an impact is
Dylan Heyduk, who batted .305 (39-for-128) in 2025 and drew 32 walks for a team-leading on-base percentage of .503.
Michael Gagliardi is also poised for another solid campaign, especially as the only River Hawk last season to start all 40 games and raked in a team-leading 33 RBIs batting .325 (51-for-157). Pitchers
Zach Plank and
Evan Applegate return to the mound, with Plank posting a 4-1 record in 2025 as a relief pitcher with 19 strikeouts in 33.1 innings, while the lefty starter Applegate won three games and recording 21 K's in 47.0 inning thrown.
