COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced that
Mady Quigley has been named to the NCAA Division III All-Region V Second team. This is the second time in Quigley's career that she has earned this honor.
After a breakout season that saw Quigley start every game for the River Hawks, the SU athlete can add yet another award to her resume. Quigley played a pivotal role in the River Hawks success that led them to their third straight Landmark Conference championship game. She served as the catalyst on the bulk of Susquehanna's penalty corner chances, while tallying a total of three goals. Quigley scored the game winner early in the season to give the River Hawks a 2-1 win over Alvernia, putting the team in the win column for the first time in 2025. She once more stapled her name in the record books as she netted the game winner against Moravian to give the River Hawks a crucial 3-2 victory over their Landmark Conference foe. Quigley led all River Hawks in 2025 with eight assists, showing the Landmark Conference that Susquehanna has a star player in the making.
QUIGLEY IN 2025:Â Started all 21 games...scored three goals on 37 shots...assisted with eight goals, with seven coming against Landmark opponents...tallied 26 shots on goal for a 70.3% SOG%...racked up 14 points during the season... charted two assists against Goucher on Oct. 29... her first two goals came across the first two games of the season, tallying one goal and one assist at Franklin & Marshall on Aug. 29 and the next at Alvernia on Sept. 2... her third and final goal of the year came in game-winning fashion, beating Moravian in overtime 3-2 on Oct. 18... named to the NFHCA Watchlist entering 2025.Â
