COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - Susquehanna University's field hockey team received more academic praise from the NFHCA, being recognized as one of 78 teams to the
2025 National Academic Team Award.
This prestigious acknowledgment is granted to programs that have achieved an exceptional team grade-point average of 3.50 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year. The River Hawks, who reached their third straight Landmark Championship game this fall, backed up their stellar play with even greater academic discipline, carrying a 3.73 team GPA in the fall that featured eight student-athletes at 3.75 or above and seven more at 3.5 or above.
Susquehanna's recognition to these outstanding awards mirrors their achievements on the field. In 2025 the River Hawks reached the Landmark Conference championship game for the third straight year, capturing a 13-8 overall record and 8-1 Landmark record. National Academic Squad recipient
