Three Go All-Landmark to Cap Third Place Finish at Landmarks

DELAWARE, PA - The Susquehanna University women's golf team officially have their highest-ever team placement at the Landmark Championships after this weekend's title race at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Result, placing third with a 696 two-day score. The program also matched the record for most All-Landmark finishers in one stay with three, keeping up their streak of having at least one All-Landmark finisher since the inaugural Landmark golf championships in 2018.

Kennedy Petrovich finished 6th with a 165 for First Team honors, shooting a 79 on day one, third-best on the day, along with an 86 on Sunday, posting back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18 Sunday to stay in the First Team bubble. Fellow first-year Peyton Cerminaro took tenth for Second Team with a 171, turning in a nine-stroke improvement after a 90 outing on Saturday turned to an 81 Sunday. Isabella Westerfield was the team's third All-Landmark finisher with a Second-Team finish of 12th with a 183, going 85 Saturday and 88 Sunday. Molly Rohan was next up looking down the leaderboard, going 18th with a 187 with a 91 Saturday and 96 Sunday. Senior Sara Rados completed her career with a 197, coupling 98 and 97 outings to rank 26th.

The River Hawks finished 47 strokes behind both Catholic and Drew, who each finished their weekends with a 649. The Cardinals won the team title for the third straight year on the tiebreak that takes the fourth and final scoring player on each team. In this case it was CUA's Lauren Wright and Avery Mrak each shooting 86 (+14). Drew's Emily Rhode shot 94 (+22), settling the tiebreaker in Catholic's favor. Drew's Josephine Nguyen won the individual title with a 150 after 75's both days.

Susquehanna's work marked the final chapter in a historic 2024-25 campaign. The River Hawks won all their head-to-head matchups with an 11-0 record between their dual matches, tri-matches, and match play. Overall they had a 46-15 overall record and 40-12 versus NCAA Division III schools. Petrovich earned a Landmark Athlete of the Week back in the fall, during which she shot a program-best 74 round. Westerfield also was a Landmark Athlete of the Week in the spring.
