SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna women's tennis celebrated two selections this year to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team in sophomores Alexa Wanamaker and Katherine Yoder. Wanamaker majors in Biomedical Science, while Yoder's degree is in Economics and Accounting. 

Thanks to the work highlighted by Wanamaker and Yoder, the Susquehanna women's tennis team celebrated another year of having the highest team GPA among River Hawks varsity teams. Susquehanna posted a 5-9 overall ledger and 2-7 conference record to finish the season and saw tremendous growth in a primarily-young squad that should set the future on a promising course.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced later this summer.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
