Box Score SELINSGROVE, PA - The River Hawks women's tennis team welcomed the Catholic Cardinals to "the Grove" on Sunday. The River Hawks battled throughout the match, but ultimately fell 7-0.
 
THE DOUBLES MATCHES

• In the number one and three spots, Mackenzie Romig/Alexa Wanamaker and Nanci Major/Katherine Yoder dropped their respective matches 1-6 against Megan Laniewski/Ella Knox and Annie Nemoy/Ava Kaloustian, respectively.
• Amelia Maguire and Macey DiBastiani fell in the second spot, 0-6 to Malread O'Hara and Ava Niggemeier.

THE SINGLES MATCHES

• In the premier spot, Alexa Wanamaker dropped her match to Annie Nemoy 0-6, 0-6.
• Kaiya Reisinger fell to Ella Knox in the second spot 2-6, 0-6.
• In the third spot, Katherine Yoder fell 2-6, 1-6 against Malread O'Hara.
• Amelia Maguire lost the four singles spot 0-6, 0-6 against Megan Laniewski.
• In the five-spot, Macey DiBastiani was defeated by Ava Niggemeier 2-6, 2-6.
• To round out the lineup, Claire Gallagher fell in the closest singles match to Ava Kaloustian 4-6, 5-7.

NEXT UP FOR THE RIVER HAWKS

• The River Hawks are on the road for the next two matches, headed to Huntingdon, Pa, this Wednesday to face Juniata College, followed by going to Bethlehem, Pa, to face Moravian next Saturday.
• They wrap up their home regular season hosting Wilkes on Sunday, April 19.
