SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna University women's track & field student-athletes
Hannah Alderfer,
Ainslee Binkley,
Ashley Newman and
Liza Levin made the cut for the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators. All four played key roles in the program's success during the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons, including Alderfer and Binkley posting Landmark Conference individual titles.
Alderfer advanced to CSC Academic All-America® Team consideration after her monumental senior season competing in the multis earned her an indoor national qualifying spot in the pentathlon, securing NCAA Second Team All-American. She graduates from Susquehanna as the school record holder in the indoor pentathlon and outdoor heptathlon, along with her degree in English Secondary Education with an English as a Second Language certification. Fellow 2025 grad Levin majored in Biomedical Science with a Minor in Chemistry. Newman is a Biomedical Sciences major with a minor in Spanish Studies, while Binkley majors in Earth and Environmental Sciences with a minor in Chemistry.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Cross Country/Track & Field Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced later this summer.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
