Five Accorded to CSC Academic All-District®

SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna's memorable football season reached another level Tuesday with five River Hawks selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Football Academic All-District® Team, successfully balancing athletic excellence with high academic marks. Jesse Ruisch, Connor Daly, PJ Pollock, Colby Klinetob, and Frankie Mroz were among those praised from Susquehanna on the association's national list, with Ruisch singled out for CSC Academic All-American® consideration. 

All five played critical roles at their respective positions to lead Susquehanna to an 11-3 record for its fourth straight NCAA Tournament, third consecutive Landmark Conference title, and back-to-back NCAA Quarterfinals appearances. Linebacker Ruisch and Long Snapper Pollock were chosen to the Associated Press Division III All-American Team, with Ruisch also earning All-Landmark and D3football.com All-Region 2 while serving as team captain. Receivers Daly and Mroz were part of a dazzling receiving corps. responsible for 38 touchdown catches, with both accounting for six of those touchdown receptions. Daly also served as a return man, leading the team with 13 punt returns. Klinetob served as the center on Susquehanna's offensive line that helped generate over 6,000 yards of total offense with a 55.56 third down conversion rate and 344 first downs, the latter two ranking third and fourth, respectively, across NCAA Division III. 

To qualify for CSC Academic All-District®, student-athletes must carry a 3.50 cumulative GPA through two competitive seasons and have started or played in at least 90 percent of their team's games.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced later this winter.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
