WILLIAMSPORT, PA - The Susquehanna University women's tennis team began their spring season Sunday with a swift sweep of King's College of Pa., hosting the match at the Central Pa. Tennis Center.
THE DOUBLES MATCHES
- The one team of Logan Rauschenberg and Tyler Hester again proved they're a dominating force, winnnig their top doubles match against Tim John and Logan Tomkins, 6-0.
- Owen Miller and Nathan Bassett took care of business at two against Amir Samadian and Gavin Hall, also by a 6-0 score.
- The three doubles matchup featured the debut of new River Hawk Peter Lewin, who teamed up with Finn Ordiway to beat William Savner and Zackary Bedwell, 6-1.
THE SINGLES MATCHES
- Susquehanna quickly clinched the match on the heels of Rauschenberger beating John again at one singles, 6-1 and 6-1.
- Miller won a two singles handedly against Tomkins by matching 6-0 scores.
- Austin Imhoof ran down Samadian at three, 6-0 and 6-3.
- Hester won his four singles match against Gavin Hall, 6-0 and 6-1.
- Bassett provided the remaining win of the day at five, shutting out Savner, 6-0 and 6-0.
