SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna Men's Golf continued its spring season Thursday hosting its second annual Spring Invitational under Head Coach Ryan Redfern at the par-70, 6261-yard Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
In a field of nine teams the River Hawks came out on top with a team score of 309 (+29), led by
Jax Puskar who finished first overall with a 74 (+4). The Susquehanna B team also turned in a strong performance finishing fourth overall with a team score of 319 (+39), led by
Chase Maggs who finished fourth individually with a 77 (+7).
Susquehanna's A team secured the victory by a narrow margin, finishing six strokes ahead of Rutgers Camden (315) and seven strokes clear of Juniata's B team (316). On the individual side
Jax Puskar finished one stroke ahead of Rutgers Camden Pearse Lee who shot a 75 (+5), and two strokes ahead of Lycoming's Tre Lesperance 76 (+6).
RIVER HAWKS ON THE COURSE (A Team)
- 1. Jax Puskar, 74 (+4) - Posted a team high of three birdies, and shot three over on the front nine and one over on the back nine.
- T4. Jonny Zadravec, 77 (+7) - Carded two birdies, and shot even par on the front nine.
- T6. Zach Shragher, 78 (+8) - Posted one birdie and nine pars.
- 16. Rider Nicholl, 80 (+10) - Made par on nine holes.
- 20. Patrick Bova, 82 (+12) - Tallied seven pars.
