ITHACA, NY - Susquehanna delivered another solid meet Saturday at Ithaca College, with many River Hawks using their last opportunities for the spring to add to their impressive resumes. This included first-year
Kendall Simms adding to her school record in the pole vault at 3.66m.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
- Simms entered Saturday looking to follow up her record-setting and Landmark-championship performances in the pole vault in a busy premiere spring season. She did just that at 3.66m, reaching it on her second attempt and bumping up her previous outdoor record of 3.65m by .01m.
- First-year Alyssa Varias continued her great work in the 100-meter hurdles, qualifying with a time of 15.61 and finishing with a 15.62 finals time.
- Dani Phillips competed in the discus, throwing for 34.11m for eighth.
UP NEXT FOR THE RIVER HAWKS
- Susquehanna competes at the AARTFC Championships at Ursinus College from Wednesday, May 13 to Thursday, May 14.
